Article creation is the process by which new articles are started, titled, formed, stubbed, categorized, and developed.

Note: The ability to create articles directly in mainspace is restricted to autoconfirmed users, though non-confirmed users and non-registered users can submit a proposed article through the Articles for Creation process, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. Additional help may be found at Help:Your first article.
As far as whether to create a new article on a topic, or add content about the topic to an existing article, that depends on a number of things, including the notability of the topic for treatment in an encyclopedia, and the suitability of the topic for a standalone page.
